Physical property of methane:
Methane is colorless, odorless, flammable, and slightly poisonous. Methane's weight ratio to air is 0.54, about half as light as air. Methane’s solubility is small, at 20 ℃, 0.1KPa, 100 unit volume of water, can dissolve only 3 unit volume of methane. Methane also produces bright blue flame, but it may turn green, because methane is burned through a glass tube, which contains sodium when it's made, then presents yellow flame. Methane burns blue, so the mixture looks green.
