There are two types of pressure tanks, replenishment and diaphragm. In the air-filled pressure tank, air and water are in direct contact. After a period of time, the air is reduced due to leakage and dissolution in the water, so that the amount of adjusted water is gradually reduced. As the pump starts to gradually lead, it requires regular qi. The replenishing methods include air compressor replenishment, water injector replenishment, and regular deflation of qi. Diaphragm type pressure tanks are separated by gas and water. Water is inside the rubber (plastic) capsules. The gap between the outside and the can is pre-charged with inert gas. Generally, it can be filled with nitrogen. This type of pressure tank has no problem of loss of air-solubility and water. It can be inflated once and used for a long time without having to install an air compressor. As a result, investment is saved, the system is simplified, and the scope of use is expanded.
a. Active barrier valve or saving equipment (optional): It is used to block municipal water sources and can set the initiative pressure arbitrarily. When the pressure of the municipal water source is lower than this value, the barrier device moves to switch to the water source tank or pressure pool . It is also possible to think about the use of saving devices to replace barrier valves and restrict the maximum flow of influent water. The lack of water supply can partially compensate for the water source tank.
b. Water source tank: No water supply equipment of the tower is fully filled with water when the feedwater is running. Because there is no compressed air storage energy, the buffer effect on various impacts and the dynamic compensation effect on municipal water sources are not as good as the buffer tank. However, when the pressure of the municipal water source is too low and the outlet (water supply) of the water source tank is greater than the water intake, the storage volume of the tank can be fully used to compensate for the lack of municipal water supply.
When the water source tank supplies water for compensation, the vacuum is used to push the air into the tank body actively, which can prevent negative pressure suction effect on the high and low pipe network (so-called no negative pressure and no suction stroke).
